In order to sync your Brevo account to our platform, you will need to retrieve the associated SMTP settings + your SMTP key from your account. Here's how you do this:
SMTP Settings:
In order to access your SMTP host, port, and SMTP key information
1. Click your name on the top-right menu.
2. Choose SMTP & API.
3. Under the SMTP tab, click Generate a new SMTP key.
4. Enter a name for your SMTP key. Include the integration name in the key’s name to easily identify it. Select the variant of SMTP key you want to generate. We recommend using the default secure SMTP key, 64 characters long.
5. Click Generate. The full SMTP key is displayed. Copy it and save it, as once you close this window, you won´t be able to display it again.
Once you have this information, you can get set up on Warmup Inbox by selecting the Brevo integration option.
Here are the detailed instructions:
Email address: Email address you wish to send emails from (the one that will be warming up)
SMTP username: Brevo account email address (login)
SMTP password: Brevo SMTP key you generated under your account email address
SMTP host: smtp-relay.brevo.com
SMTP port: 587
SSL/TLS: OFF
Please note, that you can use the Brevo integration only if you have purchased the Send-only plan.
Alternatively, you can find your IMAP in your email provider settings and connect the SMTP with IMAP accordingly:
SMTP & IMAP Option
With the trial, Basic, Pro, and MAX plans, you can connect your Brevo account only when creating an IMAP connection.
The email address for the IMAP connection must be the same email address as the one you specified in the SMTP.
In this case, instead of using the Brevo integration, you will connect your inbox using the SMTP & IMAP option.
For the IMAP part, you will need to gather this information from the inbox that will be receiving emails :
IMAP username: the email address of the inbox that will be receiving emails
IMAP password: the password from this inbox. If it´s a Google inbox, you will need to create an app password and use it instead of the regular password from your inbox.
Here are the instructions:

IMAP host:
IMAP port: typically 993 (or you can use 143)
SSL/TLS: using port 993 - ON, using port 143 - OFF
Note: the SMTP/IMAP option doesn´t work with Office 365 accounts as they have disabled Basic authentication in 2023.
Troubleshooting errors
Invalid login 525 5.7.1 Unauthorized IP address
Receiving this error means that your Brevo account is set to only allow a fixed list of approved IP addresses to use the SMTP relay. Our warmup system does not send from a fixed list. The sending IPs change all the time, on purpose, because that is how warmup works in the background. So Brevo keeps seeing a new address it does not recognise and blocks it with the "Unauthorized IP" error. There is no list of IPs we can give you to approve, because there is no fixed list on our side.
The fix is on the Brevo side. In your Brevo SMTP settings, please turn off the "Authorized IPs" restriction so the SMTP login can be used from any IP address. Once that is off, the inbox will connect and start warming up normally.
Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Click the account dropdown and select Settings > Security > Authorized IPs
2. Under Blocking unauthorized IP addresses, find the API keys and SMTP keys row.
If the status is Activated, click Deactivate for both API keys and SMTP keys.
3. Once done, you should be able to connect your Brevo SMTP to Warmup Inbox without any issues.
