If you are having trouble connecting to the Warmup Inbox platform, we recommend running your domain/email through Emailsecuritygrader to determine the issue preventing you from syncing.

Typically, connection issues will stem from incorrect IMAP/SMTP issues not allowing us to connect to your web server. Below are some steps to take in order to correct the issue.

IMAP Troubleshooting

For Google:

To check/enable IMAP under your gmail account...

  1. On your computer, open Gmail.

  2. In the top right, click Settings Settings and then See all settings.

  3. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.

  4. In the "IMAP access" section, select Enable IMAP.

  5. Click Save Changes

For Microsoft

To enable IMAP under your outlook account, please refer to Microsoft's documentation linked here. (Note: you will need administrator access in order to enable this)

For Zoho

To enable IMAP under your Zoho account, please refer to their documentation linked here.

Troubleshooting SMTP Issues

If you are experiencing issues related to SMTP settings, try verifying the following information in order to determine what the problem is.

  1. Confirm that your SMTP server and port are correct (Most SMTP ports will be 465, 587, or 25)

  2. Confirm that your SMTP server details are utilizing the correct parameters

  3. Confirm that you are utilizing the correct username/password

In order to perform these troubleshooting steps, you will need to refer to the documentation of your SMTP provider. Please note that you will need administrator access in order to perform this.

  1. For Zoho, please refer to the documentation found here

  2. For Gmail, please refer to the documentation found here.

  3. For Microsoft, please refer to the documentation found here.
